Maryland Conceal Carry Weapon Permit (CCW)
To enroll in this two-day 16-hour Maryland Concealed Carry course, all applicants must be at least 21 years old. The course also includes range qualification, and the following will be provided: firearms, ammunition, targets, eye and ear protection. After booking your course, you will be provided instructions to speed up your Maryland State Police application process. Following training, you will submit your handgun concealed carry application packet and fingerprints to MD State Police. MD State Police is the final approving authority for your permit. Classes are held at 8507 Oxon Hill Rd Suite 200, Fort Washington, MD 20744. Range qualifications take place during the second day of training at MD Small Arms Range in Upper Marlboro or Fred’s Outdoors in Waldorf, MD.
Maryland Handgun Qualification License
Maryland Handgun Qualification License training is a 4-hour block of instruction which includes classroom instruction on state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant demonstrate the ability to safely fire a handgun. The course also includes range and/or weapon firing qualification.
Unless otherwise exempt, as of October 1, 2013, a Maryland resident (state-issued ID required) must possess a valid Handgun Qualification License before he/she may purchase, rent, or receive a handgun. Details on exemptions may be found at https://mdsp.maryland.gov. The Handgun Qualification License is needed for purchasing, transferring, or renting a regulated firearm after October 1, 2013.
State of Utah CCW (Carries reciprocity for 36 states to include FL, VA, GA, and TX)
To enroll in this 4-hour Utah Concealed Carry Familiarity Course, all applicants must be at least 21 years old. Following training, you will submit your handgun concealed carry application packet and fingerprint card to the Utah Department of Public Safety. Utah Department of Public Safety is the final approving authority for your permit.
Wash DC Conceal Carry
This two-day 16-hour DC Concealed Carry course of instruction in topics such as DC firearms laws on firearm mechanics, safety, and self-defense. The course also includes range qualification, and the following will be provided: firearms, ammunition, targets, eye and ear protection. After booking your course, you will be provided instructions to speed up your DC Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) application process. Following training, you will submit your handgun concealed carry application packet and fingerprints to MPD. MPD is the final approving authority for your permit. Classes are held at 8507 Oxon Hill Rd Suite 200, Fort Washington, MD 20744. Range qualifications take place during the second day of training at MD Small Arms Range in Upper Marlboro or Fred’s Outdoors in Waldorf, MD.
